Our Big Girl! 2 Years Old

Movement: Kaylie always seems to be on the move; especially loves to run. She has also learned to jump which has been really funny to watch. I never thought about how much it took to learn to jump. She really loves to run around the grocery store which can be very difficult to get shopping done. We also need to work on not running away from mommy in a parking lot. 


Eating: Eating is not usually her favorite thing to do, maybe because she hates to stop doing whatever she is doing. Some days she won't stop eating. She hates vegetable so I have to make sure she gets some V8 juice to get her vegetable servings. Kaylie loves fruit, especially bananas. If we have bananas in the house we have to hide them because she would eat 2 or 3 a day if we let her. Her favorite food is fruit snacks and mac and cheese.
Teeth: She currently has 16 teeth, but today we noticed that she is starting to work on her 2 year molars. She should have all her baby teeth very soon. 
Sleep: She is still a wonderful sleeper; we had a couple of rough weeks when we switched her to her big bed. She now sleeps in her loft without any issues and she gets in and out without help. This is great for mommy and daddy because we wanted her switched when her brother came.Favorites: Her favorite stuffed animals right now are definitively her Minnie & Mickey. We usually have to take them every where with us. She also is really loving to play with balls especially playing fetch with her puppy. We are also in trouble because she loves shoes. Today, she got 4 new pairs, scary! Kaylie also loves to sing and dance, so she loves to go to Kindermusik every week and play with the other kids. She is also becoming quite the helper, even when we don't want her to be. I am sure we will get lots of help when her brother comes.
Diapers/Clothes Size: Diaper Size still 4, but we are starting to wear pull-ups 2T/3T a little. Clothes depend on the brand. She is in 2T pants for the most part and 3T shirts.Nicknames: Baby Girl, Bug, Sweetie, Kiddo, Cutie
Voice: She is a talking pro these days. I don't even know that I can tell you all the words she says daily. She still signs Please, but she can say it for the most part. She can say her colors, but she tells us that everything is purple right now. It used to be everything was yellow, so it is anyone's guess what her next favorite color will be. The new words that I can think of are:

She is now singing songs which is very cute, she signs Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Itsy-Bitsy Spider. And she loves to ask where people are, such as "Where's Daddy?" I will tell her that he is at work and then she puts her hands on her face and says, "OH NO."

We can't believe that our little girl is 2 already! She has grown so much this year and we can't wait to see what the next year will bring us!
