11 Months Old...One More Month and we will have a Toddler!

Well Kaylie is taking a nap so I will try to get this started since I didn't do it yesterday:


Movement: Still not walking without help yet, but she is getting closer to standing on her own. She also loves to walk everywhere which can make a trip a little longer than normal. She is very good at walking and pushing something so she will get there soon I'm sure. Kaylie also has found that climbing is lots of fun which is hard because we want her to explore, but not take a huge fall too. Oh the Joys of parenting!

We started swimming lessons this month and
she is the youngest in her class, but she loves it!

Eating: Kaylie's eating has changed quick a bit this month at home she longer takes any baby food. We are now working on self-feeding which can be very messy at times. She still loves almost everything we give her and she is still taking formula 4 to 5 times a day, but she is much more independent and tells us how much she will be eating. We have found that her new love is breakfast bars, she loves them but mmmy hates the mess...oh well! She also started using a sippy at daycare this month and they were surprised how good she was at it...well she has been using one since she was 6 months. :)

We got a new personalized toy chest this month
and it makes cleaning the living room much easier!

Teeth: Still nothing, I thought I felt a bump today in her mouth but I am not quite sure. She also loves to brush her teeth gums right now. Which is nice, but we will see how long that lasts!



Sleep: Kaylie is still a pretty good sleeper, this week was rough because she got sick this weekend. She finally gets rid of that stupid ear infection and she gets a cough & fever. She is finally feeling better so her sleep is getting better again. 

Voice: She loves to chat & sing. She is starting to say more things that sound like words and I'm sure I will be the only one for awhile that will understand her, but that is okay. She still love to shake her head "yes" or "no." It is funny when we tell her "no" now she shakes her head...not so funny that she continues to do it. 







Favorites: Her daddy is still one of her favorites, she loves when she gets to see him. Also, one of her favorite things to do is look out the windows, which mommy loves to wash windows. :( We also love bubble baths, we had our first one this month and she loved it!


Diapers/Clothes Size: Diaper size is still 3 and she is mostly in 12 month clothes, she can wear some 9 month clothes still. I hate buying new clothes but I love that her closet is ever changing.

 instead of have you take a picture.

Nicknames: Bug-a-boo from mommy, Kaylie Bear from daddy, & Bubba from Grandpa Boe. There are some other nicknames people have given her that I will not mention because I hate them!
