2015 Summer List

We had a pretty good summer. Daddy was very busy with his business, but we still had a chance to get some things in. We enjoyed a few afternoons at the Falls, the kids have grown so much in their swimming skills. Camden is fearless...you have to watch him like a hawk or he will just jump in. We also did a Color Run the day after Daddy got back from Vegas for work, and Kaylie has already requested to do it again next week! We had a fun weekend with the Burkes. We celebrate Grandma & Grandpa Boe's 50th Anniversary and also Sky & Brett's wedding! Can't wait to see what Fall will bring to us...soccer, football and lots more.

Happy 2nd Birthday!

Movement: Man, he is a quick one! We have to watch him very carefully, especially outside because he has tried to run into the road. If Camden isn't sleeping then he is moving, he has started to sit down and play more.

Eating: Camden is a very strange eater, he will eat breakfast and lunch, but usually he will not eat dinner. He loves his fruit and salad, which is new to us since Kaylie hates veggies!! He doesn't seem to be as much of a fan of Mac and Cheese, so restaurants can be hard because we aren't always sure what to get him. He seems to be growing just fine so we will just keep with it :)

Teeth: He has all the teeth he should have by this time! Still uses them to bite, but it isn't as often. We are still working on that one.

Sleep: Now that him and Kaylie are sharing a room, we have a lot less wake up in the middle of the night! He is still very much a morning person, which is great on the week days for Grandpa Boe, but not so great for Mom and Dad on the weekends!!!

Voice:
I got it!, Oh Shh!! (Loves saying it to Sadie when she is barking), Cow
Neigh (For Horse), Fier (Pacifier), Hair, Arm, Legs, Hurt, I do it!, Butch, Camden, Dude, Toes, Play, Come Play, Watch TV

Kaylie is 4 Years Old...Interview Included

Kaylie is a smart, kind and beautiful young lady now. She also can have quite the attitude!! She has learned how to write her name, she knows her shapes, letters and colors. She is even starting to teach Camden some of these things. I find it interesting the amount of words he know because she taught them. Kaylie also loves to take books and tell us a story by looking at the page. This is her "reading" to us. I find it pretty close to the real story which is amazing.

Kaylie is very into movies, being outside in the sand box and she loves to play soccer. Her favorite thing right now is to go to soccer with her daddy!

18 Months - Camden

Okay, so Fall got away from us so I totally forgot to do a 15 month post for Camden, but I will make sure all is up to date on our now 18 month old. Camden is a fearless little boy who is almost always on the move. He can throw quite the fit, unless you give in and give him his pacifier. We feel like he is all boy, jumps, climbs and throws everything!!

Movement: Like I said, this kid is almost always on the move, and he is usually running there! He has been walking for quite awhile, but he had pretty bad balance until he had his tubes put in. We have found him to be pretty quick too. He has run away from mom a time or two in the store...and he giggles the whole time!

Eating:Well this changes from time to time, he isn't much for veggies, but he eats a few more than his big sister Kaylie. He loves mac and cheese like Kaylie, but isn't much for fruit snacks. He is the type of kid that only eats when hungry which is a great thing! He also loves his milk, if he get the choice between juice or milk he will pick milk 80% of the time.

Teeth: Camden has 17 teeth, and unfortunately he still bites with all of those teeth. We have gotten better in that last few months now that he has started to talk.

Sleep: He is not the best sleeper, we usually hear him at least once in the middle of the night because he lost his pacifier. And he is a morning person, sadly :( He is usually up by 5 a.m. every morning. Camden does still take 2 naps for us, but only 1 at daycare.

Voice: Camden is really starting to us his voice! Here are the words that at least make sense when he says them:

Mommy
Dadddy
Kaylie
Sadie
Grandma
Grandpa
Rocky
Move
Sit Down (Talking to Sadie)
Eat
Eye
Ear
Potty
Shoe
Coat
Sock
Puppy

Happy 1st Birthday Camden!!!

How is it possible that our little boy is 1!! It has been an interesting and exciting year for us. Shortly, after Camden was born Zach decided to go to an new company to try video production on his own. That worked for a little while until right after Christmas, he was laid off. So on top of having a 2nd child, Daddy has gone out on his own with his business. Well we have been surviving quite well so hopefully that will continue.

We have loved to watch as Camden has evolved into his own person. I know they say not to compare your children, but it is so much fun to see the similarities and the difference between the two!! You can tell that he really adores Kaylie, but some days they fight none other! I can't wait to watch what the years bring with these two. Now, on to the Birthday Boy!!

Movement: Well a day before his 1st birthday, Camden decided that he was going to take off. He thinks he is pretty big stuff and it is so much fun to watch him walk to you. I know I was wishing for this day, but next month I will probably wish I hadn't because he will be running away from me. He also loves to dance, it is one of his favorite things and he likes to bounce which he starts to do when Kaylie is jumping off of everything.

Eating: We took him off formula around the middle of the month, he really wasn't taking it so we figured it was time to go table food only. He is still an outstanding eater and we hope that continues. I would have to say currently his favorite food is fruit, blueberries and watermelon are the top ones right now!

Teeth: I counted the other day and we have 10 teeth now, a couple are just coming in. Yay, biting continues!!! We are still working on that one! Sounds like there are a few of them at daycare that keep biting one another.

Sleep: Camden is more like his mommy and loves his sleep. He usually takes two naps for me, but at daycare they only get him one. That can mean for a little bit of a crank at night so he usually goes to bed around 6 or 6:30 p.m. and wakes up between 5:30 or 6 a.m. Few nights were he hasn't slept the greatest, but more on that in a bit.

Voice: He is always blabbing away and of course he is convinced whatever he is saying makes sense. We are starting to hear more and more words, plus he is starting to use some of the sign language from daycare. I remember with Kaylie that really helped her learn her words. We can't wait to hear more and more words from him, that is if his sister lets him talk!

Camden is still coming in Tall and Skinny! He is going to caught up to his sister in weight very soon though. We also have had some problems with Ear Infections this spring, so we will have to take him to a specialist soon. Mommy and Daddy are not looking forward to that one, but we have been told the surgery isn't too bad!!
