30 Day Challenge-Day 13
Day 13- What's in your makeup bag?
Nothing too much in my makeup bag, I have four eye shadows, two eye liners, two hair ties, and one mascara. All Avon makeup of course; I don't sell much but I do buy my makeup from there.

Looks who's 4 months old...A week late...sorry
Movement: Kaylie is moving a lot. She can now roll over from her back to tummy too. She will probably be rolling to get places soon. She is also starting to get up on her knees. She will be moving more I'm sure by next month.
Eating: She is now eating 4 bottles of 6 oz. which is about 24 oz. a day. We also started her on cereal at about 3 1/2 months. She didn't like it at first, but she seems to get excited for it now. I can't wait to go to the doctor this week and start her on veggies.
Teeth: We are pretty sure that she has started teething. She is drooling all over the place, and she is putting everything in her mouth. We will see when we get her first tooth. I think it should be soon.
Sleep: She is still sleeping a good 10 to 11 hours at night. Kaylie still isn't the best at nap time. She only sleeps 30 to 40 minutes in her crib. I am hoping that daycare will help her with this.
Voice: She still enjoys to talk; mostly in the morning. She is a very happy morning baby. We still don't know where she gets that since neither of us are morning people.
Favorites: She loves her new pool that her Grandma Everman gave her; she loves to sit in it. She still hasn't figured out that she can splash or play with toys, but I'm sure that she will love it next summer. Her walker is another favorite that Grandma Boe bought her. She loves to be able to watch mommy and Sadie walk around. Mommy loves it too because I can put her in it and make sure the Sadie can't hurt her.
Diaper Size: Still in size 1, but we will be switching to size next week.
Size (Weight & Length): 12 lbs and 25.5 inches
Clothes Size: 0-3 months and w are wearing some 3-6 months

30 Day Challenge-Day 12
Day 12- How you found out about Blogger and why you made one
I found Blogger through some friends on Facebook that have blogs. I liked it because it was through Google and I could use my Gmail account to do it. I made a blog because I figured it would be a good way to keep family and friends up to date with what was going on with Kaylie. So they could see pictures and learn about how she is changing.

30 Day Challenge-Day 11
Day 11-How You Hope Your Future will be Like
When I was young and thought about my future my present is pretty darn close to what I have. I always wanted to go to college, get a full-time job, get married and have kids. Well I have most of that.
I hope my future would include at least two more wonderful children. I can't wait to be able to spend time with our children and watch them grow up. I can't wait to be there to help Kaylie plan her wedding and can't wait for us to grow old and get to enjoy our grand kids.
I hope my future holds many more happy years with Zach. I can't wait to see what fun adventures we can take in the years to come. I love spending time with him. And we will retire and move to Florida...okay maybe that is still up for debate...ha ha.
I can't wait to see what our future holds for us.

30 Day Challenge-Day 9
Day 09- Something you’re proud of in the past few days
I would say that I am always proud of Kaylie and what she is doing day to day. She is growing every day, and I look forward to the next to see what else she has learned. I was so proud when she learned to roll from her tummy to her back, I can't imagine what I will be like when she starts crawling, walking or talking. She is my pride and joy and can't get enough of her!

30 Day Challenge-Day 8
Day 08- Short term goals for this month (August) and why
1. To get my job back-This would be my number one goal for August, I love my job and all though they made the job to fit my resume I am still nervous. I just have never been an optistism person, so I am worried that I won't be picked. I sure hope I am.
2. To get Kaylie to nap longer that 30 minutes-This wouldn't be a problem if she were to wake up happy, but most days she doesn't. Maybe the daycare will be able to get her on a schedule where she will sleep longer.
3. To spend more time with just Zach and Kaylie-This whole summer we have been go go go and I want to spend some more time with just our small little family. It is great when we are just lazy and stay at home all day on the weekends, but we haven't had too many of those weekends this summer.
4. To start saving money for our vacation in November-I am planning to work on saving more money for our vacation to Minnesota now that I am done paying for hospital bills. I am hoping when we go up to Minnesota I will get my Christmas shopping done so I have to have some money to do it. Yes, I am a freak and I am already thinking about Christmas...even though I hate winter Christmas is my favorite time of the year.
Well I am sure I could come up with more, but I'm sure that is enough.

30 Day Challenge-Day 7
Day 07- A picture of someone/something that has the biggest impact on you
There have been a lot of people that have had big impacts in my life, but these two have had the biggest impact on my life. Zach came into my life at a young age and has been through a lot with me. I know that he will always be my biggest fan and he and I can get through anything. Kaylie came into our life just 4 months ago, but she already has made me realize that someone needs me and she has shown me what unconditional love is. I love these two so much and when Kaylie is giggling and cuddling with daddy it makes my heart melt.

30 Day Challenge-Day 6
Day 06- Favorite super hero and why
I am not much of a super hero fan, but I would have to say that my favorite movie is Iron Man. I think they are pretty good movies! And he has a really cool suit...ha ha.

30 Day Challenge-Day 3
Day 03- A habit that you wish you didn’t have
I think the worst habit I have now is biting my nails. I can go for quite a few weeks and then bam I don't have any nails again. It seems to be when I go to movies that I do it the worst. I guess I have to stop seeing movies in the theater. Yeah, I don't forsee that happening. That is probably one of my habits that I have that I wish I didn't, but I have plenty of them.

30 Day Challenge-Day 2
Day 02- The meaning behind your Blog name
Well it is part of our wedding song Amazed by Lonestar. I wanted a unique name for my blog so I looked into how to get a unique name. One of the suggestions was to take a quote or song, so I took to our wedding song. We liked this part because our life was great when we got married and now that we have Kaylie it just keeps getting better. We can't wait to see what life will bring us, and "It Keeps Getting Better."

30 Day Challenge-Day 1
So I am giving into trend and going to do the 30 Day Blog Challenge to blog more:
Day 01- A recent picture of you and 15 interesting facts about yourself
1. I was born on Friday the 13th: Of course when I was in elementary I told a girl in my class this and she ran away from me screaming that I was cursed.
2. My favorite numbers have always been 6 & 13, here is why: I was born on June (6) 13th, was 6 lbs 13 oz., & 19 inches (6 +13=19). I was the 6th child and 13th grandchild on my mom's side.
3. Zach and I have been together since 7th grade so that would be 12 years, but we have only been married 3 years.
4. I got my first tattoo for my 19th birthday and I would love to get another one. This time I would like to get something with Kaylie's name.
5. I have an issue of remembering my past, I unfortunately don't remember my childhood very well. Seems to be a "Boe" trait, my sister has the same problem. If it wasn't bad enough that I couldn't remember anything; I sometimes mix my reality with dreams. I will some times say something about the past and someone will tell me that they don't know what I am talking about then I realize I must have had a dream with that situation in it.
6. My dream job would be have a animal rescue place because I am such an animal lover and I think all animals deserve to be loved and feel like part of the family.
7. I definately talk to my mom at least once a day if not more. And I see her at least every other day now that my parents live down the street from us.
8. I would have to say that my sister and mom are great role models and are my best friends. Whenever I need someone to just listen to me vent I call one of them and they always make me feel better. They are two of the greatest women I know and I hope that I can be the mother to Kaylie as they are to their children.
9. My cat Simba is like a baby to me, but he doesn't really like Zach. He hugs me and kisses me. How I got him to be like this I am not sure. I used to dress him up in doll clothes and put him in my doll stroller.
10. I am the girl you usually see hanging out with the guys. I have had a lot of drama when it comes to girls and I have found that guys are just easier to deal with. Don't get me wrong the few girlfriends I have are great but that came with time and I now know what true girlfriends are like.
11. When I was younger, I wanted to change my name to my middle name Renee. I guess I didn't think it was as common as Samantha is. I would have to say that I am happy that I wasn't called Renee for my first name. Samantha has grown on me over the years.
12. Most people don't know that I almost dropped out of UNI my freshman year because I was having a hard time with Zach being at UD and I wasn't meeting anyone. I now realize that staying at UNI was a great decision.
13. I am an organize freak...I write list for everything. Zach says I make lists to keep track of my lists. I used to have to-do list everywhere, but now I have a phone app that stores them all for me. One of the greatest things I have ever found.
14. I wanted to be a teacher for a long time until I found out that I needed to take a test to get into the teaching program. Sad, but I know that I am horrible test taker.
15. I have always wanted to get into photography, pictures are very important to me and I like to capture special moments in a photo to remember forever. Maybe this is because if I don't take pictures I will forget...haha.
Good Night All!

Okay I give up...
I give up on the every week thing...I will just try to come up with something to write about every week. Today, will be about our spontaneous vacation.
Sunday, July 3rd we went down to Urbana for our nephew's baptism and when we got there Zach asked if we could go shopping and stay down in Coralville for a mini vacation. I wasn't so excited because we didn't have any thing packed and with a baby you have to be more planned. Well Zach said that he would go and get everything if I made a list. I was a little nervous since he has never packed for us, but he did a great job.
We ended up going to Coral Ridge Mall and bought some things, one being a swimsuit for Kaylie. We shopped there a little bit and then we went to the hotel that our friend Carrie worked at and checked in. We decided to try the pool with Kaylie for the first time. She liked it at first, but then she decided she was hungry and got mad. We went back and fed her and waited to go to eat with our friend Reese. Kaylie was not very happy about this because we ended up eating at about bedtime for her. We went back to the hotel and Kaylie ate and fell asleep...we worried about her sleeping in her pack-n-play but she did great.
Monday, July 4th we decided to wake up and we went swimming again and she loved it this time. We then decided to go to Williamsburg for some more shopping. We got some great things for us and Kaylie this weekend and we had a great time together. I am happy that we decided to take a mini vacation and can't wait for the next one.
