9 Months Old...3 Months to Go!

Movement: Kaylie is moving everywhere; right now the Christmas tree and presents are her favorite thing to go to. The more she moves the more she gets into trouble. She is starting to walk around the furniture and she loves to hold onto your hands and walk around the house. I think she will be walking and standing alone very soon.

Eating: She is eating 22 - 24 ounces of milk, 1 serving of fruit, 1 serving of grain, 1 serving of veggies, and 1 serving of meat every day now. She eats table food whenever we can and she loves it. We have found that she would rather eat real green beans than the green bean baby food. I guess I can't blame her on that one.

Teeth: Still no teeth, but we think she should get one soon. The doctor today even said that he figured she probably was teething.

Sleep: Kaylie is sleeping great again. We think that the cry method seemed to have worked for her. She has gotten really good at putting herself back to sleep.

Voice: She loves to talk which is a lot of fun to listen to. We usually have no idea what she is saying unless it is "DaDa." I think she says it all the time because she loves him so much!

Favorites: One of her favorite things right now is her pony. She gets on it and starts rocking back and forth. It is pretty funny! Her puppy is another one of her favorite things; she is always laughing at her. She loves to watch her run around the house. She loves to help her mommy, the other day she was helping "lots" in kitchen.

Diaper/Clothes Size: Size 2 in Day/Size 3 in Night and she is just starting to get into 9 month clothes.

Weight/Length: 16 pounds 12 ounces (15% percentile) 28.25 inches (74% percentile)

Nicknames: Miss Kaylie, Bug-a-Boo

8 Months Old already!

Okay with Thanksgiving it took me a long time to get around to this post:

Movement: Oh my godness, do we move now! We are officially crawling now. She crawls everywhere especially to places that she can pull herself up on. She loves to stands or crawl; she doesn't sit still very well at all.

Eating: She usually has five 6 oz. bottles a day, at 7 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m., & 8:00 p.m. She also has a half a tub of fruit & cereal at like 11:00 a.m and a half of tub of veggies in the afternoon at 1:00 p.m. or so. She then usually has table food at dinner time with us. She would definately perfer table food than baby food. She ate a lot of her Thanksgiving dinner. She loves green bean casserole, but we think that the Cream of Mushroom didn't sit very well with her stomach because she spit up quite a bit that day. The other day she had tater tots, green beans & corn and she loved them all. We haven't found anything that she doesn't like yet.

Teeth: No Teeth Yet!

Sleep: Sleep has been a little rough. We are finally trying the cry out method and it seemed to help at night. Monday night she cried for 45 minutes, but Tuesday & Wednesday it was only a few minutes. Naps are still rough, she doesn't really nap at daycare and when mommy tries she cries a lot. Hopefully it will get better :)

Voice: She still loves the sound of her voice. "Da da " is her favorite thing to say. I think she is starting to understand what she is saying. When she says it to me I am always correcting her by saying, "No I'm Ma Ma." She looks at me and smiles, pretty sure she knows that she is calling me the wrong name and she finds it funny. We both think the other day that she said "All Done." Don't know seems a little crazy, but we both thought we heard it. I think she is starting to say "Ba Ba" now. Not sure what it is for, maybe that is what she is going to call me now. Ha Ha.

Favorites: Her daddy is one of her favorites, she seems to enjoy playing with him and she gets really excited when he comes home. I have to say that I love to watch the two of them interact. Standing is her favorite right now, she stands on everything even when we don't want her to. I hate when she stands on chairs because it would be her luck that it would tip on her.

Diaper Size: Still 2 Diapers during the day & 3 at night

Clothes Size: She can still fit into most of her 6 month outfits, but we are starting to put them away and get her into 9 month. I figured it makes more sense for her to be in 9 months when she is 8 months old!

Nicknames: Miss Kaylie, Bug-a-boo,

Halloween/Family Vacation

Well it has been awhile so I thought I would tell you about our first official family vacation and our baby girl's first Halloween.

We decided this summer that Kaylie was too little to do a family vacation so we decided to wait and go this fall. My sister Melissa asked us to join them in going to the Mall of America. Since Kaylie loves to shop we thought it would be a great trip and mommy and daddy could get a little Christmas shopping done...yes I know I am always way ahead of schedule with this.

We left on Friday morning and made our way up there. Kaylie did awesome in the car, sleeping about half of the way. We made great time and got up there right around lunch time. We got checked and decided to head to the Mall. We did a little looking around and then grabbed some lunch. We spent the rest of the afternoon shopping. That night we went swimming with Melissa and the girls. Kaylie loved it, she is really a water baby. She would stay in her baths all night if we let her. We then ordered dinner in and it was time for the kids to go to bed. We figured Kaylie would be okay in her pack-n-play because she had been sleeping all week in it because we were having some work done on the house. But she only slept a few hours and then woke up crying. We finally got her to go to sleep with us in the bed, against everything that I ever wanted to do. And she woke up a few more times, but went straight back to bed.

Saturday, we started with breakfast at the hotel and Zach, Kaylie, Dennis & Luke drove to the mall and Melissa, Katelyn, Elizabeth and I took the shuttle there. We got there and heard that Saturdays they have a free family flick at the theater so we decided to go. This was Kaylie's first movie and she loved it. It was It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown so it was really short, but she did great. We then decided to do a little shopping, we had to make a stop at the new Disney Store because it was their grand opening that day. I wasn't impressed because I
thought the old store was bigger and much less crowded. We did lunch at the mall and then did a little more shopping. We decided to go back in the middle of the afternoon so relax and go to the pool again. Luke joined us this time, he wasn't quite sure, but I'm sure next summer Kaylie and him will be swimming like crazy. We all then went back to the Mall to eat at one of our favorite Bubba Gump's. The girls then wanted to go on the Rides so we went down there for a little bit but Kaylie got tired so the three of us headed back. Again we had another horrible night, and we even thought about leaving. Kaylie was up from 11:30 p.m.-1 :30 a.m. We finally got her back to sleep and we got up and had breakfast. We left early because  Zach had to get back to coach his last two soccer games. It was a fun time, but we think we will be waiting on the hotel for a little bit.

On to Halloween, it wasn't real exciting since we couldn't go trick or treating yet. We did go over to Grandma & Grandpa Boe's and pass out candy. I think Kaylie had lots of fun because she got to see all the kids. Next year, we can't wait to take our little girl treat-or-treating.

Our Little Angel is 7 Months Old!

Getting ready for Christmas!
Movement: We are now army crawling everywhere. She is pretty quick now. You have to watch her very carefully because one minute she is one place and the next she is somewhere else. It is a lot of fun, but she is getting into lots of trouble too.  As you can see by the picture, if I wasn't paying attention she would have gotten into those presents.

Eating: She is still eating 1 fruit and 1 veggie. She has finally started to eat baby food at daycare which has been good because then we know that she is getting baby food. She has started eating some table food like cooked carrots, mashed potatoes, rice & yogurt. So far she has loved everything that she has tried.

Teeth: No teeth, but we think she is teething.

Sleep: This month is going much better. She is usually sleeping from 8:30 p.m. until 6:30-7:00 a.m. We have started to give her a bath every night to give her more of a routine. It seems to be helping a little, but some times her teething seems to be bothering her. Hopefully, we will keep getting better.

Voice: We are the chatty catty. We love listening to her; she is quite funny. Yesterday, she was giggling at my parent's dog Rocky. It is the great thing to listen to.

Favorites: Her little people is one of her favorite things. Shopping, she loves to shop. It seems like she is always happy when we are shopping. She now sits in the cart all by herself; which is funny because she loves to just chill. She leans back and puts her feet up.

Diaper Size: Size 2 during the day still and Size 3 during the night.

Clothes Size: 3-6 months & some 6-9 months

Nicknames: Bug a boo, Daddy's girl and Miss Kaylie
Two Peas in a Pod!

Other Fun Things We Did This Month:

Went to the Zoo for the First Time: Daddy had to work in Davenport one Sunday so we decided to go down with him and visit our friends Susan & John. Susan, Kaylie and I decided that it was a beautiful day and we should go to the Zoo. Kaylie seemed to love it, she could see some of the animals and she loves to be outside. Mommy had a great time too because she loves animals especially the big kitties.

Susan & Kaylie at the Zoo
Our First Cancer Walk: Mommy and Kaylie went down to Cedar Rapids on a Saturday night and stayed with my sister and her family. We then went to the Especially For You walk with Melissa & Luke. Although it was pretty cold we had lots of fun and it didn't seem like a 5K. The babies got lots of awws because people thought they were cute. Someone even thought they were twins...ha!

Have a HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Half Way there...Kaylie is 6 Months!

Movement: Kaylie is rolling all over the place. She even sleeps on her tummy at nap time some time because she moves so much before she goes to sleep. If you put her on her hands and knees she rocks back and forth. She is getting closer to crawl, which is exciting but a little scary too.

Eating: We are feeding her a fruit & 4 ounces of milk (usually in a sippy cup) in the morning and she had two 6 ounce bottles. I around 10:30a to 11a and again at 1:30p-2p. She then eats a veggie & 4 ounces (again in a sippy cup). She has her last bottle around 7:30-8p. It seems to be going well, but I need to figure out how to add oatmeal in their too.

Teeth: Still No Teeth!

Sleep: This month has been a little tough for sleeping. She has been struggling at going to bed, it has been more like between 9 to 10 p.m. The start of the week we went down better, but last night was rough again.

Voice: She still loves to talk. She loves to say da da, even though we know she doesn't know what it means. She is also love to make Indian Sounds; you know when you cover and uncover you mouth. It is pretty funny.

Favorites: Her new little people sets. Grandma Boe got us two Halloween Little People and she loves them. She loves that she can sit up and play with toys now too.

Diaper Size: 2 in the daytime, 3 at nighttime

Size (Weight & Length): Not sure guessing about 14.5 lbs and 26.5 inches. We will see on Monday when we go to the doctor.

Clothes Size: 3-6 clothes, but he have a few 0-3 sleepers that still fit.

Nicknames: We are trying to still use her name mostly, but baby girl is the most common.

GO PANTHERS!

A Week in Kaylie's Life

Kaylie wanted to tell everyone what she was up to this week:

Monday (12th): My cough got worse so Mommy and Daddy decided that I needed to go to the doctor so Mommy stayed home and worked a little from home. I played in my bouncer and on my gym with Sadie-Bear before we went to the doctor. We also went on a walk in the morning. At 10:30 a.m.we went to the doctor for them to tell us we were doing everything right and I just had a cold. I spent the rest of the day sleeping and playing with Mommy.

Tuesday (13th): Since Mommy didn't go to work on Monday they asked Grandma Everman to babysit me on Tuesday. So I spent the whole day there, and played in my new swing that Grandma got me. That night I went to my first UNI Volleyball game with Mommy and Daddy. I was a huge hit with everyone that worked with Mommy. I was very good, but very tired from all the fun.

Wednesday (14th): I went to daycare to play with all my friends, even the one that bit me last week. Mommy got off early on Wednesday so we went over to Grandma Boe's to clean and do laundry. I got to play with Grandma; she even let me play with her grabber. Reese and Carrie then came to visit us and I had some solids at dinner. I spent a little time outside with everyone before it got too cold. Daddy and I were horsing around a little. I sure love my Daddy; he is lots of fun!

Thursday (15th): I went to play at daycare again. Mommy had another half day so she came and picked me up. We went to help Grandma Boe decorate for fall. I had fun helping Mommy put everything in its place. I then went with Mommy, Daddy and Grandpa Boe to my cousin Domenic's cross country meet. I had a great time and I loved Domenic. This was the first time that we had met. After the meet, we went out to eat with Grandma & Grandpa Boe, but I pretty much slept all dinner. I did wake up at the very end and threw my puffs container on the floor and puffs went everywhere. Sorry Mommy!

Friday (16th): I spent the day with mommy. We woke up really early...which Mommy was really happy about. :) We went shopping at Kohl's to get me another sweatshirt, some pants, and we found two long sleeve shirts for me and one for my cousin Luke. We then stopped at Hobby Lobby for Grandma Boe; so I could pick out the yarn for my new blanket she is going to make for me. I fell asleep so Mommy helped me out and found some cute colors. Panther colors...Go Panthers! Mommy, Sadie-Bear and I took a walk while Daddy was at soccer practice. It was a cold day, but we had a great time. Then Aunt Ashley came over and babysat me while Mommy and Daddy went on a date. I missed them so much that 10 minutes before they got home I decided to wake up and scream. Hope they had fun though!

Saturday (17th): I woke up and cuddled with Mommy and Daddy for awhile before we headed to help Aunt Ashley and Ben move out. They were headed to North Dakota; that is where Ben's new job is. I was very good and very helpful all day. We hung out for a little bit when we got home and then Mommy had to go to church with Grandpa. So it was just me and Daddy; we decided to take Sadie-Bear to the dog park. It was lots of fun; I love doggies and I got to see a lot of them. When Mommy got home she gave me a bath and then Mommy and Daddy's friends Sara and Chad came over. Sara played me with for a little bit and then fed me. I wanted to stay up with the grown ups, but I was too tired. They watched a movie when I finally went to sleep.

Sunday (18th): I cuddled and watched the NFL station with Daddy. He really loves football so I am starting to like it too. Sundays are grocery days so I went to Walmart with Mommy and Daddy. It was lots of fun and we got some more food for me. We came home and I played in my bouncer, walker and then rolled around a bit. I thought this blanket was pretty cool and decided to wrap it around me. Mommy and I played with Sadie-Bear a little bit too. I really love my big sister!

Well it has been a long, but fun week. Hope you enjoyed seeing what I experienced this week. I will do it again soon.

Almost halfway to 1 year...5 Months Old

She started out on the blanket!
Movement: Kaylie can now roll both ways and have started to roll to get to places. We have put a gate up at the top of the stairs but we still need to finish the baby proofing. I can't believe how fast she is growing up and she will be crawling before I know it and probably before I am ready.

Eating: She eats 24 to 29 oz. a day. And she gets at least one fruit or veggie a day. I am going to try to get in the habit this month to do a fruit in the morning and a veggie at night, but we will see. I tried giving her puffs the other day and she thought they were fun to play with, but she wasn't quite sure about them when they went in her mouth. Daddy and I thought it was pretty funny.
She has loved everything we have given her so far!

Teeth: Nothing yet...still drooling like crazy and she loves to chew on everything.

Sleep: Sleeps from 8:30p (sometimes 9p) to about 7:00a (7:30a if I'm lucky on my days off). She usually sleeps all the way through but we had a couple nights that she was waking up in the middle of the night; we think she was sick.

Voice: Kaylie sure knows how to use her voice. It mostly is for good happy talking, but we still get some screaming fits from time to time. She sure has a pair of lungs when she does get really mad. We are very glad that she doesn't have a screaming fit daily any more.

Favorites: Pretty much anything that can go in her mouth. She puts everything she finds in her mouth so we have had to learn how to be a little more careful. She also seems to love the tag on her gym more than her gym right now

Diaper Size: 2 During the Day and 3 Baby Dry at night, she was leaking every night and I was getting tired of doing laundry so we switched her to the baby dry which last up to 12 hours and got the size up when the same size wasn't working.

Size (Weight & Length): 13lbs (I'm guessing because when we weighed her it said that she weighed less than when she was at the doctor and I don't believe it) 25 3/4 inch

Clothes Size: We are still mainly in our 0-3 month outfits, but we have a few 3-6 month outfits for this summer.

She is already a ham for the camera
Nicknames: Bug-A-Boo is my main one right now, but we are trying not to use nicknames because we want her to get to understand her name.

30 Day Challenge- Day 30 (Last Day)!!

Day 30- Your favorite song.

If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away by Justin Moore:

Everyday I'd drive to work across Flint River bridge
A hundred yards from the spot where me and grandpaw fished.
There's a piece of his ol' fruit stand on the side of Sawmill Road
He'd be there peelin' peaches if it was 20 years ago
And what I wouldn't give
To ride around in that old truck with him

If Heaven wasn't so far away
I'd pack up the kids and go for the day
Introduce them to their grandpaw
And watch them laugh at the way he talked
Find my long lost cousin John
The one we left back in Vietnam
Show him a picture of his daughter now
She's a doctor and he'd be proud
Tell 'em we'd be back in a couple of days
In the rear view mirror, we'd all watch 'em wave
Yea, losin' them wouldn't be so hard to take
If Heaven wasn't so far away.

I'd hug all three of those girls we lost from the class of '99
And I'd find my bird dog Bo,
And take him huntin' one more time
Ask Hank why he took those pills back in '53
Ask Janice to sing the second verse of 'Me and Bobbie McGee'
Sit on a cloud and visit for a while
It'd do me good just to see them smile.

If Heaven wasn't so far away
I'd pack up the kids and go for the day
Introduce them to their grandpaw
And watch them laugh at the way he talked
Find my long lost cousin John
The one we left back in Vietnam
Show him a picture of his daughter now
She's a doctor and he'd be proud
Tell 'em we'd be back in a couple of days
In the rear view mirror, we'd all watch 'em wave
Yea, losin' them wouldn't be so hard to take
If Heaven wasn't so far
If Heaven wasn't so far
If Heaven wasn't so far away.
So far away
So far awaaaaaaaaaaay

30 Day Challenge- Day 29

Day 29- In this past month, what have you learned
I have learned that I love to blog, but I am not real big on the every day thing. I think it was nice to have something to talk about, but some times they were just silly. I love that you can speak your mind and also talk about the new and exciting things in your life.

I learn everyday what it feels like to be a mommy to a wonderful little baby and I have learned what unconditional love is. I am so excited to see what comes of this little princess!

30 Day Challenge-Day 28

Day 28- How have you changed since then last year?
Well the biggest change would be that I am no longer pregnant and I am a mother now. I think this is one of the greatest changes I have had in my life. Motherhood is fantastic, it can be very hard at times with lack of sleep and a crying baby, but I think that is why it is so rewarding.

I can't say that I have probably changed much other than that, but I think that is a pretty major one.

30 Day Challenge-Day 27

Day 27- Why are you doing this 30 day challenge
I started doing it mainly to get myself to blog more and to have topics to blog about. It has been fun, but it has gotten a little old. When I am done with this I might try to blog once a week unless I have something special to talk about.

30 Day Challenge-Day 26

Day 26- What you think about your friends
Well that is a silly question...they wouldn't be my friends if I didn't like them. The bad people in my life I have already gotten rid of and thank goodness. I do wish that I could hang out with my friends more, but our schedules don't match much.

Chris, well he is Uncle Chris in our house to Sadie and of course Kaylie. He is our best friend and I have always saw him as a big brother, which is funny since he is younger than I am. He has been there through a lot with Zach and I and we know we can count on him for anything. And the kids adore him too.

Andrew & Jo, we have known Andrew since grade school and he has always been like a brother to me. Our first year at UNI we use to go on "dates" because his girlfriend at the time was in high school and Zach was in Dubuque. Then he brought his lovely wife Jo into the picture and we have loved her since we met her. I love that I have someone else to keep me sane when the boys are being boys.

Sara & Chad, I met Chad first when he started at UNItix and then Sara was hired. Sara and I really hit it off and then we started hanging out as couples. They have become great friends and we don't know what we would do without them. Even though neither of them work at the ticket office anymore we still try to get together often.

Susan & John, We met Susan first in college; she lived on the same floor as me. The first day we met her Zach had to carry her back to her room that night. We have had some fun times from college and beyond with her. John, well I will be honest the first time I met him I didn't think we would get along. He is a very loud person and those of you who know me...I am very quite. But I have to say that he has grown on me and I just ignore him...ha ha. Kidding John. We both wish they didn't move to Davenport...we will miss them. :(

Reese & Carrie, Reese met Zach at UNI and then they decided we should go to a movie together. We hit it off right away. We even found out Carrie and I had met at a softball camp in high school...small world. Now the boys talk nerd while Carrie and I have our own conversation. Glad someone else has to deal with the "wow it is a clear cord" things. We are so happy that they are in Iowa City now instead of Minnesota.

Megan & Ryan, Megan was in our group when we were in school and her and I were pretty close and Ryan we knew of in school but didn't talk to really since he was a few grades above us. We have stayed close with them, but they live in Readlyn and have a cute little boy Ryker that keep them busy. We love that we can pick up right from where we left off when we do get to see each other. Zach and I are happy that they have a kid too so we aren't the only ones.

Courtney & Phil, Courtney and I have been friends since we were babies. Our moms actually went on diets and then they got pregnant with us. This is funny because I am two months older than her and Kaylie will be about 5 months older than their little girl. Phil we met when Courtney stayed dating him and have like him every since. We wish we say them more, but they live in Iowa Falls. Maybe with the baby, Courtney and I can have some play dates.

Shivanie, Shivanie and I met when she was still working for UNItix. We hit it off once I started to talk finally. She said I was a hard person to open up, but now we can talk for hours. We unfortunately don't get to see each other much anymore because she now lives in Texas. Can't wait for her to come visit and meet Kaylie!

Jacki, We lived on the same floor with Susan at UNI. We all had some great times, but when she got out of college she moved to Colorado. I miss her dearly, but get to see her from time to time when she come home to Iowa.

I love my friends and all of them for a different reason...they are like family and Zach, Kaylie and I are happy to have them in our lives.

30 Day Challenge-Day 24

Day 24- A letter to your parents
Dear Mom & Dad,
I want to thank you for all the love and support you have shown me these 25 years. You have always been my biggest fans and I love you both for that. You are the greatest parents a girl could ask for, and Kaylie is very lucky to have the two of you as grandparents. Mom, thank you for being there for me today...It was a rough day and I am lucky to have you here for me.
 Love you both.
Sam

30 Day Challenge-Day 23

Day 23- Something you crave for a lot
I think the thing that I crave a lot would be 4 Queens Ice Cream, but fortunately Zach doesn't let me get it very much. If he did my diet would be ruined a lot.

Monday, August 8, 2011

30 Day Challenge-Day 22

Day 22- What makes you different from everyone else
I don't really know much that makes me different from everyone else. I do have a different connection with the numbers 6 & 13. I was born on June (6) 13th. I was 6 lbs 13 oz and 19 in. I was the 6th child to my parents and 13th grandchild on my mom's side. This is why when I was in school I always picked 6 & 13. I know that most people think 13 is a bad number to most people, but it has always been lucky to me.

30 Day Challenge-Day 21

Sorry I had a busy weekend so I forgot to Blog...

Day 21- A picture of something that makes you happy

This smiley face makes me very happy!

30 Day Challenge-Day 20

Day 20- Someone you see yourself marrying/being with in the future
Well since I am married already, I would have to say that I see myself staying married to Zach and living a very happy life together.

30 Day Challenge-Day 19

Day 19- Nicknames you have; why do you have them
Bubba-Guess My older brother Pat gave it to me...not sure why.
Squirt-My sister Melissa still calls me this from time to time... probably because I was littler than her.
Sambo-To all my college friends, I will always be this and Zach is Zachbo.
Samo-Dad sometimes still calls me this, but manly it was when I was pitching. I wasn't the only Sam on the team and it would say Samo because it was faster than Sambo.

30 Day Challenge-Day 18

Day 18- Plans/dreams/goals you have
1. Get my job back after I interview and get back to a normal schedule.
2. Have at least two more children.
3. Save up enough money to put a decent down payment on a new bigger house.
3. Enjoy my husband and children for many years and retire and have a winter home down south.

Nothing too big! :)

30 Day Challenge-Day 17

Day 17- Someone you would want to switch lives with for one day and why
This one was a tough one and last night I was just too tired to think so I didn't blog last night...oops!

I think switch lives with my husband. I know this sounds probably weird, but would love to the world in the eyes of a man. I also would love to be as laid back as he is for just one day. I haven't figured out how he does it, but maybe it is because he is a man. Who knows!

I would like to have in switch lives with me just so he can do some of things I do, like clean the house. If I could get out of it for one week that would be great. I say that but I am sure that he wouldn't do it the way I like it done and then I would redo it the next day anyways. I am a perfectionist a little bit, I have a process to most things such as cleaning or getting Kaylie ready for bed. I think it would be interesting to switch for a day, but I think by the end of the day I would be ready to switch back.

30 Day Challenge-Day 16

Day 16- A photo of a place you want to go

Some day I want to take Kaylie and our future children to Disney World. I went when I was about 9 years old and I don't remember it very well. I want the kids to be a little older so that they can enjoy it more and hopefully they will be easier to travel with.

Day 15- Put your iPod on shuffle: First 10 songs that play
Feels Like Tonight By Daughtry
Independence Day By Martina McBride

30 Day Challenge-Day 13

Day 13- What's in  your makeup bag?
Nothing too much in my makeup bag, I have four eye shadows, two eye liners, two hair ties, and one mascara. All Avon makeup of course; I don't sell much but I do buy my makeup from there.

Looks who's 4 months old...A week late...sorry

Movement: Kaylie is moving a lot. She can now roll over from her back to tummy too. She will probably be rolling to get places soon. She is also starting to get up on her knees. She will be moving more I'm sure by next month.

Eating: She is now eating 4 bottles of 6 oz. which is about 24 oz. a day. We also started her on cereal at about 3 1/2 months. She didn't like it at first, but she seems to get excited for it now. I can't wait to go to the doctor this week and start her on veggies.

Teeth: We are pretty sure that she has started teething. She is drooling all over the place, and she is putting everything in her mouth. We will see when we get her first tooth. I think it should be soon.

Sleep: She is still sleeping a good 10 to 11 hours at night. Kaylie still isn't the best at nap time. She only sleeps 30 to 40 minutes in her crib. I am hoping that daycare will help her with this.

Voice: She still enjoys to talk; mostly in the morning. She is a very happy morning baby. We still don't know where she gets that since neither of us are morning people.

Favorites: She loves her new pool that her Grandma Everman gave her; she loves to sit in it. She still hasn't figured out that she can splash or play with toys, but I'm sure that she will love it next summer. Her walker is another favorite that Grandma Boe bought her. She loves to be able to watch mommy and Sadie walk around. Mommy loves it too because I can put her in it and make sure the Sadie can't hurt her.

Diaper Size: Still in size 1, but we will be switching to size next week.

Size (Weight & Length): 12 lbs and 25.5 inches
Clothes Size: 0-3 months and w are wearing some 3-6 months
