Camden: 1 Month

I did monthly updates for Kaylie so now it is Camden's turn.

Movement: Camden has been quite the mover since he was born. You put him in tummy time and he kicks his feet like mad and moves himself. He is just starting to hang out on his gym, he is starting to kick his feet on the piano and hitting the toys with his hands.

Eating:Camden eats about 3 oz every 3-4 hours. Luckily, he doesn't spit up like his sister did, but he seems to get gas more than she did. We are thinking we need to move him up to 4 oz. during the day soon, but we will see. He seems to like to eat more than Kaylie did.

Teeth: No teeth

Sleep: His sleeping is getting so much better than it was. Zach and I had a rough first few weeks with him. Zach was very busy and stressed at work so I felt bad letting him help me at night, but I had to let him because I am a terrible bear if I don't get enough sleep. He is now going to bed around 8 p.m. and sleeping to midnight or 1 a.m. Then he sleeps until 3 or 4 a.m. Then we are usually up at 7 a.m. or so. It is still rough with the nightly feedings, but it is getting much better. You forget how little a newborn sleeps at night, when it has been so long.

Voice: Other than crying we have not found our voice yet. Mommy and Daddy can not wait to hear the chattering. I am sure that Kaylie will love her brother even more once he starts talking.

Favorites: Camden seems to enjoy his bouncer the most. It bounces on its own so that is great for us since he does not nap in his crib. I seem to remember another child that never did that either!

Diapers/Clothes Size: Pampers Size 1 for Diapers and 0-3 Months in clothes.

Nicknames: Kiddo, Bud (Kaylie's Favorite), Cam

What's New with Us

Wow it has been a long time since I have made a post. We have had some very big changes lately.

First, we would like to announce that Camden has joined the family! He was born on June 11th at 9:22 a.m. He was 7 pounds 14.4 ounces and 21 inches. Cam is just perfect. We are all very much in love with him especially Big Sister Kaylie. She has been very helpful, some times too help! Kaylie likes to call him her baby, every morning she wakes up and asks to hold her baby. I love watching her with him and can't wait to see what they are like when they get older.

The second big change is that our miss Kaylie is in the middle of potty training. She is becoming quite the rock star at home. She has even gone at a couple of public places which is awesome! Now to get her to do it every time with undies. Monday, she went potty at daycare and that is great!

2nd Birthday Party-Minnie Mouse

We celebrated Kaylie's 2nd birthday with many family and friend on the Saturday, March 23rd. We planned for an afternoon party so that Kaylie's could join us for the celebration. This worked out great because I ended up having to work 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. because we had a CIT game that night and it was spring break.
Saturday morning, Zach ran out to get the cake and my mom did the last minute shopping for the party. Thank you for these two very special people! Once I got off work I went to my parents to decorate while Kaylie took a nap. Well that didn't work out since she slept for maybe an hour. Guess she was excited for her party! Kaylie is in love with Minnie Mouse so that was the theme I decided to go with this year. I made most of the decorations and then I bought a few. Since it was much colder this year than last, we decided the party would have to be inside. Luckily, my parents have a nice big basement!

Everyone starting coming around 4 p.m. and the party started. We are very grateful for all the special people in our daughter's life. Most people we able to come, but with it being spring break a few people were not able to make it. We hung out for a little bit while Zach cooked the meat on the grill. And then we ate our yummy dinner, again thanks mom for all the help! After dinner we went downstairs to open present...wow is that kid spoiled. She had so many gifts that she got to the point that she didn't want to open presents any more. We took a quick break with the pinata and then it she was at it again. I think almost 2 weeks later and we have finally played with all the new toys. She has been able to wear some of the clothes this week since it is starting to warm up. After presents it was cake time.
She was very tired by the end of the night, but she had lots of fun with everyone! Thanks for everyone that is in our life!
